There Was A War: the complete webcomic

There Was a War was a webcomic I released from 2016 to 2019. Three years later, I finally completed the PDF version of the webcomic, including some retouches and rearranged pages.

There Was a War follows Balor, the disgraced daughter of a petty Fomor king. After a terrible accident leaves Balor with a lethal superpower, Balor is drafted into the Fomor army in their 700-year war against the human settlers of ancient Ireland. It's here that Balor meets Cath, a human witch taken captive by the Fomor. They meet in secret, each a relief from the other's oppresive life. But is it enough to curb fate?
